Adjunct Lecturer in
Library & Information Science for Spring 2025.
Responsibilities include: - Develop syllabus and course curriculum for one course
- Teach one online class in Spring 2025 semester.
- Educate and support students in their classroom.
- Communicate respectfully and build relationships of trust with people of all cultures and abilities.
- Foster a culture of inclusive excellence through authentic relationships with students as an educator and a mentor.
- Monitor and assess student-learning outcomes and provide timely and frequent feedback to students on academic performance.
- Monitor curriculum content and make recommendations as appropriate to maintain relevance.
- Consistent with the university's Catholic identity, its commitment to women, diversity, inclusion, social justice, and dedication to a liberal arts-based curriculum, faculty are expected to manifest these themes in their teaching and practice experiences.
LIS 7700 Management of Libraries & Information Centers - Wednesdays 6:00-8:30pm (other times available) - Online
This course is the introduction to basic management theories and their applications to libraries and information centers. It highlights important management issues concerning planning, organizing, coordinating and leading an organization.

Minimum Qualifications: - Master of Library & Information Science, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated expertise in library management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications: - Teaching experience (1 or more years).
