We are currently seeking an experienced Art Director to join our team. This role is crucial in shaping the visual aesthetics of our brand and guiding our team in creating innovative and compelling visual content that resonates with our audience. By collaborating with various departments, you will guarantee that our marketing materials convey the intended message while complying with brand guidelines. Lead the team in producing high-quality visual content for various platforms, including print, web, and social media.
Ensure all design work adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent look, feel and aesthetic.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visual concepts that align with brand messaging and target audience.
Collaborate with the product department to design product packaging and labels that effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.
Collaborate with the eCommerce department on website graphics, banners, enhanced content, mockups, general design and digital content.
Collaborate with the Print department on product personalizations for screen printing, heat transfers, pad printing, etc. working with customer supplied artwork and at times recreating to vectorized files.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep Ironwear at the forefront of design innovation.
Review and provide constructive feedback on design projects, ensuring high standards of quality and creativity.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Art Director, Senior Graphic Designer, or in a similar leadership role.
A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional design work and creative campaigns.
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and knowledge of digital design tools.
Strong understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and guide the design team.
Ability to translate complex ideas into visually compelling concepts that resonate with varied audiences.
Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple projects and timelines effectively.
Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) is a plus (Ex. Shopify CMS, Builder.io, etc.)
Experience with online design tools is a plus (Ex. Figma)
Experience with UI / UX is a plus
Experience with Computer-aided design (CAD) software is a plus (Ex. Solidworks) for product design
Experience with eCommerce enhanced content is a plus (Ex. Amazon A+)
Experience with eCommerce platforms is a plus (Ex. Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, etc.)
Experience with a project management software is a plus (Ex. Wrike, Smartsheet, ClickUp, Monday, Trello, Asana, etc.)
