Assistant Controller - Clear progression to Controller then CFO - $90k-$110k

Take ownership of financial reporting, budgeting and analysis to help the company reach its potential while supervising two high caliber individuals who handle a/p and a/r. The President of this company is looking for a highly promotable accounting professional who has experience improving processes and partnering with operations to make strategic financial decisions. This is an excellent role for a strategic & forward looking accountant who desires an opportunity to do more strategic work in a position where you will make an impact every day on which direction this company is pointed and how far down they push the accelerator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and take personal ownership for reporting to the executive team
- Oversee and modernize A/P and A/R processes. You will walk into a department that is in good shape but we are searching for someone who can take things from good to great
- Collaborate closely with the operational leaders on conducting monthly analysis and preparing margin reports
- Play a key role in important projects including enterprise-wide automation projects & other process improvement initiatives
