Cornerstone Auto Service, foreign car specialists located in Parkersburg; WV is looking for an experienced auto mechanic & diagnostic technician to join our team. We are located at 2716 Camden Ave. Parkersburg, WV 26101. Our ideal candidate has a minimum 5 years of automotive repair & diagnostic experience & must be skilled & proficient with in-depth mechanical & electrical diagnostic, able to work independently & follow instructions. We offer a steady & consistent work schedule with most weekends off. 5-day work week. Compensation plan with an opportunity to earn more with productivity. Responsibilities

• Examine cars based on customer statements & determine appropriate repairs needed
• Be able to diagnose extensive mechanical & electrical problems
• Replace or repair worn parts as needed
• Perform auto repairs such as timing repairs, 4 Cylinder engine swaps & transmission swaps
• Pay rate dependent on electrical & mechanical diagnostic skill level.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years previous work experience in automotive mechanical repairs, diagnostic & a good understanding of electrical.
• Foreign auto repair experience is a plus but not necessary we can help you learn the technology
• Must be able to work independently & be able to quality control your work by a shop foreman
• Excellent understanding of electrical & mechanical failures in today's highly advanced autos
• Knowledge of tools & equipment being used to repair vehicles
• Strong critical thinking & troubleshooting skills
• Must have your own tools & toolbox within 1 month of hire (We provide specialty shop tools)
• You must have a positive attitude & be teachable
• You have to have an active/valid driving license
• Be dependable and show up to work every day
