• The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support.

• We are looking for your experience, knowledge and medical billing experience in our Cancer Center where you will be responsible for: providing insurance authorization, charge posting, coding, billing and clerical support to the department.
• Responsibilities include acquiring insurance authorization, data entry, and reconciliation for charge posting,coding and billing, document processing, answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments or procedures and all other duties as requested.
• The billing coordinator reports to the Medical Oncology Manager/designee.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Previous experience in health care or medical setting

Preferred Job Requirements

• Knowledge of medical terminology
