Position Overview:

As a CAD Technician at JBPro, you will play a crucial role in our dynamic team, working under the direction of the Project Manager. You will collaborate with design engineers to develop detailed civil drawings that meet and exceed client expectations. Your work will also involve close coordination with our surveying department on a variety of projects, ensuring accuracy and precision in all deliverables.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Collaborate with staff, clients, sub-consultants, and government agencies, fostering positive and productive relationships. 
  • Interpret and bring sketches and mark-ups from professional civil engineers to life with detailed and accurate drawings. 
  • Transform initial design concepts into precise AutoCAD representations for civil engineering projects. 
  • Apply your knowledge to perform civil engineering design calculations with accuracy and confidence. 
  • Interpret and adhere to land development codes and roadway design standards. 
  • Contribute to our team’s success by working efficiently to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional results. 

Requirements

  • Associate's or technical degree with courses in civil engineering technology or AutoCAD. 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. 
  • Preferred: Civil engineering design experience.
