We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our leadership team. As the COO, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily operations, optimizing efficiency, and driving strategic growth. You will be an essential partner in shaping the operational framework of the organization, ensuring scalability and excellence as we continue to expand.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Innovation:
Partner with the CEO and executive team to implement the strategic business plan, aligning operational goals with the company's culture and vision.
Develop and manage firm-wide policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Oversee key administrative functions, including compliance, human resources, and financial controls.
Create scalable operational frameworks that support growth while maintaining agility in a rapidly evolving market.
Ensure operational excellence through strategic organizational structure optimization.
Operational Excellence:
Establish metrics-driven accountability across teams, focusing on efficiency and operational excellence.
Lead the development and implementation of streamlined processes to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Oversee technology initiatives to improve operational capabilities, ensuring competitive advantage.
Collaborate with the Director of Finance and Operations to manage budgeting, billing, and vendor relationships.
Ensure full compliance by assuming the role of Chief Compliance Officer, managing compliance efforts internally and with external partners.
Client Experience:
Champion the firm's commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience, implementing quality control systems and standards.
Work alongside the advisory, client service, investment management, and marketing teams to ensure seamless communication and a unified approach to client interactions.
Lead the execution of initiatives designed to drive firm growth through improved client service delivery.
Strategic Growth Initiatives:
Identify and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities, including performing due diligence and financial analysis.
Collaborate with the leadership team to onboard new teams and advisors, ensuring smooth integration.
Help expand the firm's presence in new markets, positioning it as a leading force in wealth management for ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Human Resources and Team Development:
Oversee the human capital program, including benefits and policies, while fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture.
Work closely with the Chief People and Culture Officer to attract, onboard, and nurture top talent aligned with the company's values.
Lead and develop the operations, technology, finance, and compliance teams to support overall company objectives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer, Director of Operations, or similar role within the financial services industry.
10-15 years of experience in financial services, wealth advisory, investment management, or planning, with a preference for background in national RIA or multi-family office settings.
Strong understanding of operations, compliance, data analysis, and performance metrics within the financial services sector.
Expertise in operational best practices, information technology, and project management.
A passion for working with business owners to plan for business succession and liquidity events.
Excellent communication and business development skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to various stakeholders.
High attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and a client-centric approach.
Strong leadership skills, emotional intelligence, and personal integrity.
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, business technology, and performance metrics.
