VinePals is a wine industry technology company based in the Napa Valley. We passionately introduce our "Pals" to world-class wine producers. We carefully curate wines from top producers from all over the globe so our customers DISCOVER new wines DAILY! Secure and simple ordering with Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and others on our mobile app or website.

Position Description:

The VinePals Copywriter’s primary responsibility is to write copy for the daily offers including but not limited to writing content for the bottle shop, weekly wine tasting and off-site meetings. This candidate must have knowledge of wines from all over the world. Intermediate to advanced wine knowledge is required to successfully perform this job.

Primary Responsibilities:

•  Responsible for writing daily offers for VinePals daily deal offerings.
•  Responsible for staying on top of offer deadlines and execution.
•  Maintains offer calendar and collaborates with the team to ensure each offer is executed in a timely manner.
•  Research wine score and accolades.
•  Write copy for the website’s bottles shop.
•  Attends weekly group wine tasting sessions.

Skills Required

The ideal candidate will have:
•  Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
•  WSET Level 1 or greater preferred.
•  Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
•  Able to multi-task and work in a collaborative team environment with unparalleled patience and selfless commitment to the customer.
•  Passion for wine.
•  Infectious personality with an enthusiasm and passion for life, wine and food.
•  Self-starter with an ability to anticipate and proactively accomplish tasks.
•  Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. required
•  Employment is contingent upon participation and completion of a working interview

Compensation: Up to $100 per written offer.
