Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Leverage UltraTax software to ensure accurate and efficient tax preparation.
- Manage and maintain financial records for clients using QuickBooks, ensuring compliance and precision.
- Conduct in-depth tax planning and research to help clients minimize tax liabilities.
- Communicate directly with clients to gather necessary documentation and address tax-related questions.
- Stay up-to-date on changing tax laws to identify and implement tax-saving strategies.
- Support clients during IRS and state tax audits, including preparing necessary documentation and representation.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and professional advice.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to guide client decision-making and internal operations.
What We're Looking For
- Active CPA license (required).
- At least 2 years of experience in tax preparation and advisory services.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and UltraTax software.
- Comprehensive understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- High integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
