Position Overview: As a Bud Tender at Oklahoma Roots Medical Dispensary, you will play a crucial role in assisting our patients with their medical marijuana needs. You will be responsible for providing personalized recommendations, managing product inventory, and ensuring a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Interaction: Greet and assist patients with their medical marijuana needs, providing expert advice on products, strains, and consumption methods based on their medical conditions and preferences.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about our product offerings, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the benefits and effects of various products.
  • Sales and Transactions: Accurately process sales transactions using our point-of-sale (POS) system. Handle cash and electronic payments responsibly.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory levels. Ensure all products are stored and displayed according to company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all local and state regulations related to the sale and distribution of medical marijuana. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior experience in a customer service role or in the cannabis industry is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of medical marijuana products and their effects is a plus. Willingness to learn and stay informed about industry trends and product knowledge is essential.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle cash and transactions accurately. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Must pass a background check and obtain any necessary licenses or certifications as required by local and state regulations.
