Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Works to ensure that all product documentation is controlled and current in PLM
  • Create and setup part and document numbers with associated required information within PLM.
  • Reconcile and correct PLM changes as necessary with the downstream ERP system.
  • Manage all aspects of Engineering Change Order (ECO) activities including creation, review, action item assignments, release, phase in/out timing, and action item completion.
  • Interface closely with Planning and Supply Chain functions to ensure accurate phase in/out of materials associated with changes.
  • Create and update Bill of Materials (BOMs) in PLM.
  • Maintain Engineering and ISO documentation files.
  • Assign training to documentation and procedures in PLM.
  • Effectively follow Planar’s standard operating procedures in submissions of documents and management of data within PLM.
  • Ensures good accuracy and data integrity of all documents.

Requirements

What you'll bring:

  • High school diploma, associate's degree preferred.
  • Good computer skills with working knowledge of MS office required (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams).
  • Prior experience with PLM strongly desired.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP valuable.
  • Prior experience working in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Prior experience working with ENOVIA PLM or PTC Arena PLM is desired, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of internal customers ensuring the highest level of customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to work equally well as a team member or independently; able to focus on specific tasks, keeping overall project goals in mind.
