Summary

Join our award-winning team as an Event Set-Up Attendant at Hyatt Regency Orlando! In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for ensuring all meeting and event spaces are prepared to the highest standards. From setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, and equipment to providing water and other amenities, your attention to detail and efficiency will ensure our events run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and arrange meeting spaces as outlined in event specifications, including tables, chairs, water stations, and other required items.
• Break down and reset event spaces promptly after events.
• Collaborate with the events team to ensure all setups meet client expectations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other hotel departments to address event needs.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of event areas and storage spaces.
• Handle and move equipment and furnishings safely, with the ability to lift moderate weight.
• Respond promptly and professionally to last-minute changes or requests during events.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the team and guests.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull moderate weight (e.g., tables, chairs, and equipment).
• Adaptable and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in hospitality or events is a plus but not required.
• A positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent service.
