Job Description

Road Ranger, a multi-state Travel Center company, is seeking a Fuel Supply & Logistics Coordinator in the Fuels Department at its Schaumburg headquarters!

Position Summary:
Working under the supervision of the Vice President of Fuels, the Supply and Logistics Coordinator will primarily reconcile, analyze, and report on Road Ranger Travel Centers daily fuel activity. This role will also manage fuel supply, schedule fuel deliveries, and manage Logistics delivery services with various common carriers supporting Road Ranger Travel Centers and potential wholesale customers. Additional job duties include product sourcing, reporting, analyzing fuels cost and supplier pricing and other daily activities. This position will also perform special projects as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and generate weekly and monthly fuel accounting reports
• Managing third -party logistics service providers and proficient operation of delivery service.
• Analyzing data to monitor performance, plan improvements and demand.
• Drive appropriate levels of inventory through utilization of supply chain planning.
• Responsible for ERP (PDI) improvements, set up, data entry.
• Coordinate, monitor and secure supply at various terminals.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with suppliers, third- party logistics and company operations.
• Required to work nights M-F and weekend “on call” as scheduled. Typical schedule Monday – Friday in-office schedule of 12pm – 5pm, with telecommuting 6pm – 10pm.
• Assist V.P. of Fuels in product sourcing, reporting, and managing fuel cost.
• Inventory management and order entry fuel deliveries for Road Ranger and wholesale customers. 
• Perform special projects
• Assist in other departmental activities as required.

Education & Experience :

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Logistics preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation.
• Experience in areas of general accounting, financial reporting and analysis in a corporate environment.

• Strong organizational skills and must be able to pay strict attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize and to handle multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously
• Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong Excel, power BI, PowerPoint, and data analysis.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess a high degree of proficiency with a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (Excel, Word, and Access)
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other staff members to accomplish the goals and objectives of the organization
• Flexible and creative thinking
• Excellent analytical skills including business process mapping and quantitative analysis

Pay Range: $60,000 to $75,000 annually
