Full-Time Nanny in  Bernardsville, NJ

Hourly Rate: $25-30/hour

Start Date  : ASAP

Schedule through Mid-March (able to be more flexible with timing after that):

• Monday and Wednesday: 1:15 PM - 6:00 PM
• Tuesday and Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Friday: 12:15 PM - 5:15 PM
• Flexibility is a Plus
• Guaranteed 35 hours per week

• Open to possible weekend help if needed

Description:

Seeking a nanny for a family with two young sons, ages 2 and 4 years old. Ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, patient, experienced, go-with-the flow, caring nanny who loves to work with toddlers and preschoolers.

We are looking for someone to create a nurturing, stimulating environment, while encouraging the boys' development through structured activities and free play. This individual must have experience with preschool aged children and be resilient given that they are working with two small boys.

Looking for a long term commitment and someone who will conduct themselves in a professional manner when communicating with us, both the mother and father. We are looking for a self-starter, resilient and not easily flustered individual.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized care addressing the boys' physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs
• Create a safe, engaging, and structured environment, planning daily activities such as educational projects, crafts, and games
• Maintain hygiene routines, including diaper changes, potty training, handwashing, and occasional baths
• Transport the boys to and from nursery school, activities, and appointments (using a family car)
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks
• Assist with light household tasks, including tidying up the children’s areas, laundry, and kitchen cleanup
• Help enforce boundaries and follow established discipline guidelines
• Work with us to assess child development and plan engaging activities

Requirements:

• Prior experience with young children in a similar role
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation (a family car is available for transporting the boys)
• Comfortable around dogs and ok with letting them out if they need to, feeding them dinner if no other adult is home (there are 2 friendly dogs at the home, a Rhodesian Ridgeback and Cavalier King Charles). However, they are self-sufficient and generally like to sleep all day
• Positive, organized, and responsible
• Provide 3-5 professional references
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must be 18 years or older to apply
