THIS IS A FULL-TIME TRAVEL POSITION WHICH REQUIRES BEING ON THE ROAD FOR UP TO 10 DAYS AT A TIME. KIT Custom HomeBuilders has an immediate opening for Home Service Construction Warranty Tech. This individual will service customers in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Competitive pay package includes hourly pay starting from $22 - $24.00+ hr. (DOE), daily per-diem allowance, paid travel expenses, a company vehicle, and tools are provided.

Primary Duties: Travels to home locations in various states, interacts with homeowners as well as company Service Department. Performs service repairs for all areas of construction including finish trim work, cabinetry, flooring (laminate, tile, and vinyl), drywall tape & texture, painting, siding, roofing, windows/doors, as well as basic electrical and plumbing.
Requirements: - Must have strong communication skills, self-motivated, be a team player, and reliable.
- Construction or remodeling experience is required.
- Proven experience with carpentry, plumbing, drywall, and electrical work desired.
- Experience with warranty work is helpful.
- Knowledge of or experience with manufactured housing is preferred.
- Ability to give attention to detail and complete repairs with a professional finish.
- Able to work with remote supervision and make decisions independently.
- Experience with providing customer service, explaining technical solutions, and resolving issues.
- Able to travel extensively throughout Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
- Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL is not required), a clean driving record, and be able to obtain a DOT medical card. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
- Regular attendance is a critical part of all positions at KIT. Must be available to consistently work the required business hours without tardiness, interruption, or early departure, as well as any required Saturday or later evening overtime.
