IT Director - United Gaming (Onsite)
Atlanta, Georgia

The IT Director plays a key role for this fast-growing, leading Coin Operated Amusement Machine (COAM) company in GA with explosive historic year-over-year growth and expected continued growth through mergers & acquisitions and company expansion.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the IT Director will oversee and maintain all essential IT operations at United Gaming. The successful candidate will be one who is comfortable “rolling up their sleeves” and learning the business, developing internal and external relationships, and who thrives in a fast-paced, solutions-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain all essential IT operations at United Gaming, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware etc.
  • Lead and manage major IT projects and business-critical initiatives, ensuring alignment with United Gaming's strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic IT plans and solutions, driving technological innovation and efficiency in the gaming industry.
  • Conduct in-depth research and evaluation of emerging technologies, hardware, and software to keep United Gaming on the cutting-edge.
  • Analyze United Gaming's IT needs, identify vulnerabilities, and enhance productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to support informed business decisions.
  • Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of network components, staying informed about new features and competitive solutions.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve current IT processes, technologies, and vendor relationships to maintain high service standards.
  • Develop, implement, and manage disaster recovery procedures and maintain comprehensive data backup systems.
  • Develop and manage best practice cybersecurity plans.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required to meet the evolving needs of United Gaming.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT management or similar roles.
  • Proven experience in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Exceptional creative and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Professional certifications relevant to the role preferred.
  • Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite, Bill.com, Synchroteam, AssetTiger, Monday.com, BambooHR, ADP and/or similar platforms.
  • Must be available to work onsite at United Gaming Headquarters in Atlanta, GA.
