JAMF Architect: We are seeking a highly skilled JAMF Architect to lead and optimize our client's Apple device management solutions. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable JAMF environment to support their enterprise needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of JAMF, macOS, and iOS ecosystems, with a proven track record of developing secure and efficient device management strategies.
Key Responsibilities: Solution Design: Architect and implement JAMF solutions to meet organizational needs, including device provisioning, app deployment, and policy enforcement. Platform Management: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of JAMF servers and integrations with enterprise systems. Security & Compliance: Develop and enforce security protocols for macOS and iOS devices to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Automation: Create scripts (e.g., using Python, Bash) and workflows to automate recurring tasks such as patch management, software distribution, and user onboarding. Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and end-users to identify needs and deliver tailored solutions. Training & Documentation: Provide guidance, training, and documentation for IT staff on JAMF operations and best practices. Troubleshooting: Serve as the escalation point for complex JAMF and Apple ecosystem issues.
Required Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Apple device management. 5+ years of hands-on experience with JAMF (certifications such as JAMF 200, 300, or 400 preferred). Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of macOS and iOS systems administration. Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or AppleScript. Familiarity with network protocols (e.g., LDAP, SAML, VPN) and cloud-based integration tools (e.g., Azure AD, Okta). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a team
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in large-scale enterprise deployments. Familiarity with MDM solutions other than JAMF. Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST or CIS. Previous experience with Agile or DevOps workflows.
