Manager, Leadership and Talent Development

The Manager, Leadership and Talent Development is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and implementation of leadership and organizational talent development activities. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with leadership to assess, design, recommend, and implement talent management programs and processes, career pathing, and development resources, ensuring alignment with company culture and goals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the evolution, implementation, and management of enterprise-wide Leadership and Talent Development programs
  • Utilizes expert facilitation skills in conducting leadership and professional development programs, courses, and workshops in alignment with the organization’s goals for high potentials, as well as mid to senior level leaders across the organization
  • Design and create leadership development programs within the LMS and monitor progress.
  • Assesses, recommends, creates, and implements leadership development processes, tools, resources, and solutions based on strategic or tactical business plans
  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate New Leader Orientation and monitor new leaders post training to ensure the program is addressing all the department's objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter / content experts, business partners and vendors to create and design new content, tools and learning solutions to meet Trulieve’s leadership capabilities needs
  • Assists with driving cultural change through the adoption of learning competencies linked to business strategy.
  • Measure departmental programs and initiatives to review progress and determine program ROI, and assess program effectiveness to ensure application of acquired skills and effective results.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert to consult internal clients on talent management development solutions and best practices in the industry; proposes data-based recommendations to business leaders, leveraging knowledge of best practices and company policies and procedures, as well as related laws and regulations.
  • Communicates talent management approaches to leaders and stakeholders (HR and business), often at the executive level, utilizing data to educate and influence buy-in and implementation of solutions.
  • Follows, contributes to, reinforces, and may help to develop philosophy, strategy, and standards for how Talent Management helps businesses respond to talent-related opportunities and demands; helps to develop tools and/or assessments that guide managers to make effective talent-related decisions.
  • Performs all other related job duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Leadership Development Certifications (e.g. DDI, Certified Situational Leadership® Trainer, LDCP) and Assessment Delivery Certifications (e.g. MBTI, DiSC) a plus.
  • Requires 5+ years of talent management experience.
  • Generally, requires 5+ years of leadership development experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience coaching, supporting, motivating current and future leaders.
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Likely to require some travel, some of which may be by airplane.
  • Seasoned subject matter expert in performance management, talent, and other OD programs.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and story-telling skills; able to develop program collateral that conveys transformational concepts.
  • Deep understanding of talent management best practices, including leadership, talent development, and coaching.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
