Job Description

Description of the Role: First State Auto Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Manager to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the parts department, including inventory management, customer service, and sales support. You will play a vital role in ensuring the availability of parts and accessories for our clients and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.   • Manage the parts department, including inventory control, ordering, and pricing
  • Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of parts orders
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable pricing and terms
  • Provide exceptional customer service by resolving parts-related inquiries and issues
  • Supervise and train parts department staff to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize parts operations and support business goals
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a Parts Manager or similar role in the automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and team members
  • Proficient in inventory management systems and computer applications
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
