Responsibilities

Collaborating with a hospital in central Maryland with an opening for a Breast Radiologist.

Explore all this community has to offer between the beautiful museums, delicious local restaurants, and a vibrant music scene.

Opening Overview:

  • Schedule: 4 clinical days and 1 non-clinical day

  • Shift Information: 8a-5p

  • No call or weekends

  • Level 1 trauma center

  • 100% breast imaging

  • Lower volumes

  • Full subspecialty support

  • EMR: Epic

  • Will work with residents and fellows

  • Must have a strong academic background, will consider new fellows

  • Board certification required

Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)

  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

  • Active unencumbered MD or DO Maryland state license

  • Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program

  • One year of work experience as a Mammography Radiologist

  • One year of EMR experience 

  • Board Certified

SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.

  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs.

  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

  • Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.

  • A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.

  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
