Position: Police Officer - Entry Level
The Stayton Police Department is seeking qualified candidates for an entry-level Police Officer position.

Salary and Benefits
Annual Salary: $63,651.04 (entry-level)
Benefits: Comprehensive health insurance, Oregon PERS/OPSRP eligibility after six months, and education, certification, and physical fitness incentives.

Job Requirements
Age: Minimum 21 years old at the time of hire.
Citizenship: U.S. citizen or ability to obtain citizenship within 18 months of hire.
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Driver's License: Valid Oregon driver's license in good standing.
Testing Requirements:

FrontLine National Test: Required through the National Testing Network (NTN). If taken within the past 12 months, valid test scores may be submitted.
ORPAT (Oregon Physical Abilities Test): Submit a valid score within the last six months. Out-of-state candidates may submit a valid PAT test score from another state.
Additional Requirements:

Must pass a background check and psychological evaluation.

Complete NTN FrontLine testing and the NTN personal questionnaire.
Provide ORPAT or equivalent physical test scores if applicable.
