We are seeking a highly experienced Power BI Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a key player in our data visualization strategy, leading the design and development of complex, interactive reports and dashboards that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of advanced Power BI solutions, utilizing DAX and best practices.
• Partner with business stakeholders to uncover their data needs and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
• Design and build robust data models, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Source, clean, and transform data from diverse sources, upholding data integrity throughout the process.
• Implement robust data security measures and govern data access within Power BI.
• Champion the adoption of Power BI within the organization, mentoring and training colleagues.
• Stay at the forefront of the Power BI landscape, actively researching and implementing new features and functionalities.
• Collaborate effectively with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
• Document work processes and reports with exceptional clarity and detail.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
• Extensive experience designing and deploying complex Power BI reports and dashboards for enterprise-level needs.
• In-depth understanding of data modeling concepts, including star schema design and dimensional modeling.
• Mastery of DAX, with the ability to write highly optimized queries.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions.
• Solid experience with data cleansing and transformation techniques.
• Deep understanding of data security best practices and the ability to implement them within Power BI.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• A passion for data visualization and effectively communicating insights through compelling visuals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Power BI certification.
• Experience with Azure Analysis Services (AAS).
• Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
