Company Overview:

Fusion Graphics is a growing apparel and promotional items company specializing in high-quality decoration services. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Production Assistant and Shop Keeper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience or interest in digital printing processes such as Direct to Garment (DTG), Direct to Film (DTF), and heat pressing. You’ll be working in a creative environment where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are key. Experience is not required but applicants with experience in the industry will be preferred.

Job Description:

As a Full-Time Production Assistant and Shop Keeper , you will play a key role in our production process, including running DTG, DTF, and heat press machines. You will also be responsible for managing in-person orders, keeping the production area organized, and ensuring the shop runs smoothly on a daily basis.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on production work and shop management in a customer-facing role with a passion for learning and growing.

Key Responsibilities:

• DTG Printing: Operate Direct to Garment (DTG) printers to print high-quality designs on apparel, ensuring proper ink usage, machine calibration, and maintenance.
• DTF Printing: Run and maintain Direct to Film (DTF) printers to create high-resolution transfer prints on films for garments.
• Heat Pressing: Use heat press machines to apply transfers, vinyl, and other decorations onto garments, ensuring optimal temperature, pressure, and timing.
• Order Management: Process orders from walk-in clients, ensuring accurate details are recorded, designs are reviewed, and timelines are communicated clearly to customers.
• Production Workflow: Ensure smooth workflow in production by keeping track of orders, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Shop Organization: Keep the shop floor clean, organized, and efficient. Ensure machines, tools, and workspaces are maintained in good condition.
• Stock Room Management: Organize and maintain the inventory of blank apparel, transfer materials, and other supplies. Keep track of stock levels and ensure timely reordering.
• Customer Interaction: Greet and assist in-person customers, answering questions, taking orders, and providing updates on the status of their projects.
• Quality Control: Perform quality checks on all finished products to ensure they meet company standards for print quality, garment condition, and transfer application.
• General Maintenance: Ensure the shop is well-stocked, clean, and organized, and assist with other maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with DTG printing , DTF printing , and/or heat pressing preferred, but not required (training will be provided).
• Knowledge of basic printing and heat transfer techniques.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot DTG, DTF, and heat press machines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service experience, especially for managing in-person orders.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift and move boxes of supplies or equipment up to 50lbs.
• Dependable, punctual, and a team player.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with digital printing and apparel production.
• Familiarity with graphic design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) to review customer artwork.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for DTG, DTF, and heat press machines.
• Strong organizational skills for managing inventory and keeping the shop orderly.
