Job Overview

A production employee is responsible for providing the retail staff with a steady supply of flower boxes, prerolls boxes, and a variety of different clean jars. They are also responsible for light outdoor maintenance including shoveling snow and mowing/watering the lawn.

Compensation 

Starts at $14/hour

Responsibilities and Duties

• Cleaning and sanitization of dishes including various sized serving jars, bamboo and metal lids
• Organization of clean dishes – putting them in their correct areas after drying
• Cleaning and organization of surrounding work areas
• Putting together serving boxes to include all flower and pre-roll packaging
• Maintaining an adequate supply of packaging materials to include boxes and dishes for the retail staff
• Communicating with management/leads about packaging needs
• Taking direction from management regarding outside maintenance
• Outside maintenance to include shoveling in the winter and watering/mowing the lawn during the summer months.

Requirements of Position

• Able to perform quick and efficient work independently
• Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• No allergies to products such as dish soap, coconut oil, MCT oil, isopropyl alcohol
• Ability to safely use equipment such as a lawn mower, leaf/snow blower and shovel
• Ability to take direction and constructive criticism appropriately and professionally

Qualifications / Certifications:

• Alaska Marijuana Handlers Card
• Municipality of Anchorage Food Handlers Card
