Job Description

Position Summary:

The Program Coordinator for retention initiatives will assist with implementing retention activities to increase the number of undergraduate students (particularly those from minoritized and historically underrepresented backgrounds) persist to degree. Retention activities include tracking student enrollment and potential clues signifying attrition, data entry, assisting with efforts to prevent attrition, and assisting with student data collection that bring retention-related student behaviors to light. The incumbent will demonstrate solid communication skills, partner effectively with stakeholders across campus, and have knowledge of collecting, compiling and interpreting data.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience plus two to three years of professional experience in higher education with a focus on student success or retention initiatives is required.

The candidate must have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary: Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, within university policy and salary schedules, as well as departmental budgets.
