Retail Sales and Customer Experience Manager Great Bay Home is an importer and distributor of home fashion essentials. We design, source, and manufacture everything that we sell, which allows us to deliver the best products at the best prices to our customers. We are a highly collaborative, solution-orientated team searching for someone who is willing to challenge themselves and embrace the opportunity to make meaningful contributions toward our continued growth.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, hard-working person, who loves helping others, to come join our team as Retail Sales and Customer Experience Manager. You will be responsible for managing our new retail outlet in Kittery Premium Outlets, maintaining a "beyond helpful" attitude, and problem-solving with customers from the time they walk through the door until they leave with their new favorite home essentials. Great Bay Home customers expect a consistent level of high-quality products supported by high quality customer service, which you are passionate about providing.
Responsibilities - Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specs, problems, service questions, and overall customer concerns
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and work to establish a positive rapport with every customer both internal and external
- Work with the senior management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in product/services
- Positively impact the company's bottom line by turning new customers into repeat customers and repeat customers into ambassadors of the brand
- Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent
- Teach, coach, and train to improve the success and selling potential of all associates
- Effectively and fairly lead and drive high-performance of all associates.
- Set and reinforce clear and concise performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates
- Partner with the members of the sales leadership team to support action plans that optimize results and ensure effective execution of operational activities
- Opening and closing responsibilities

Skills & Qualifications - Prior experience in leading teams in a customer-based sales environment
- Proven track record driving sales results
- Strong communication and ability to foster a customer centric selling culture
- Able to provide in the moment coaching to associates
- Availability for varied weekly shifts including weekend, closing and peak periods
- Prior sales management experience preferred
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to multi-task and to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
Schedule Requirements - Varied shifts including rotating weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements - Able to stand for extended periods of time while performing duties
- Must be capable of lifting up-to 25lbs
