Sales Representative / Insurance Agent
This is an opportunity with a client in the insurance industry, currently seeking three motivated and community-connected professionals to help drive growth in personal insurance lines, including auto, home, and life. Ideal candidates will bring strong local networks, a consultative sales mindset, and a proactive approach to relationship-building and lead generation.

• Fixed Salary: Hourly rate of $24.80.
• 3-month contract.
• Full-time position: 40 hours per week.
• Work Schedule: 9 am to 5 pm – in-office position.

Responsibilities:
• Identify prospective customers using established lead generation methods.
• Sell a range of personal insurance products, including auto, home, and life, to individuals and affinity groups.
• Conduct needs-based assessments to identify multi-line sales opportunities.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of leads through daily prospecting and outbound calling (minimum of 50 calls/week to current and former clients).
• Attend a minimum of 2 community events per month to drive brand awareness and network with potential referral sources.
• Establish 3 new household leads per day (15 per week), each with potential for bundled quoting across multiple insurance lines.
• Build and maintain 3 new referral source relationships weekly (e.g. mortgage lenders, realtors, car dealerships, etc.).
• Service existing customers and manage policy renewals, ensuring excellent customer experience and retention.
• Promote the client's model and brand through local marketing initiatives and social media engagement.
What you will need to succeed:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales.
• Active or obtainable Tennessee state insurance license in Property, Casualty, and Life.
• Demonstrated success in a sales-driven environment, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively to individuals and groups.
• Proven ability to build relationships, network within the community, and generate new business opportunities.
• Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and meet performance goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to understand client needs, evaluate coverage options, and follow underwriting guidelines.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and social media platforms to support lead generation and client engagement.
