We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Security Officer Road Supervisor to oversee and support security operations across multiple sites. This role requires a proactive leader with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of security procedures and protocols. The ideal candidate will ensure that all security officers maintain high performance, compliance, and professionalism while on duty.
Key Responsibilities: - Mobile Supervision: Conduct routine and unannounced site visits to ensure security officers are performing duties effectively and adhering to company standards.
- Staff Management: Train, mentor, and provide on-the-spot guidance to security personnel, addressing any performance concerns and ensuring adherence to policies.
- Incident Response: Act as a first responder to critical incidents, providing support and direction to officers while coordinating with law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor site security operations, ensuring proper patrols, access control, and surveillance monitoring are conducted efficiently.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships by addressing concerns, ensuring expectations are met, and conducting regular check-ins.
- Compliance & Policy Enforcement: Ensure all security staff comply with company policies, site-specific regulations, and health and safety guidelines.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed reports on site visits, incident responses, officer performance, and any security concerns.
- Scheduling & Coverage: Assist with scheduling, covering shifts when necessary, and addressing last-minute call-offs to ensure uninterrupted security operations.
- Risk Assessment & Improvement: Identify potential security vulnerabilities at sites and recommend improvements to enhance overall safety.
- 24/7 Availability: Must carry and respond to a company-issued phone at all times to handle urgent situations or emergencies.
Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in security services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or mobile patrol role.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; security-related certifications preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and conflict-resolution abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency in using security monitoring systems, GPS tracking, and incident reporting software
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Certifications: Valid D Security License and FL Driver’s License required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to drive for extended periods, stand for long durations, walk extensive distances, and respond swiftly to emergencies.
