Job Description

Join our Westgate Resorts team as a Security Officer and become an integral part of our commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for our guests and team members.

As an Security Officer, you will:

• Patrol the resort premises to maintain a visible security presence and ensure the safety of guests and staff.
• Respond promptly and effectively to all security-related incidents, including medical emergencies, disturbances, and property breaches.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and prevent security breaches.
• Enforce resort policies and procedures to maintain order and security.
• Assist guests and employees with security-related concerns and inquiries.
• Conduct regular inspections of resort facilities to identify and address potential security hazards.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate and thorough incident reports for all security-related incidents.
• Provide support and assistance to other resort departments as necessary.

Qualifications

• Preferred DCJS license in the state of Virginia. 
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner.
• Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license to drive company golf carts.

• Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
