Role Overview:
As our Senior 3D/AI Rendering and CGI Artist, you will spearhead the creation of hyper-realistic product renderings, CGI videos, and AI-enhanced media that seamlessly integrate with real-world footage. You will blend AI, CGI, and real-life content to push the boundaries of design and storytelling. From concept to execution, you will craft content that captures the imagination, blurs the line between reality and digital art, and elevates the turn brand to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

• 3D Rendering & Animation: Create hyper-realistic 3D renderings of turn products (podpak, turnpen, pods, etc.) that align with turn’s brand identity and quality standards. Ensure lifelike textures, lighting, and movements.

• AI Integration: Utilize AI tools and continuously stay ahead of emerging AI design programs to enhance 3D models and video content. Experiment with generative AI to produce photorealistic visuals and animations.

• Content Fusion: Seamlessly blend real-world video footage with AI/CGI elements to create visually striking, immersive product experiences that feel authentic. Work closely with the media team to request live footage for hybrid compositions.

• Lighting & Realism: Pay meticulous attention to detail—lighting, reflections, shading, and texture must appear indistinguishable from reality. Perfect the subtleties of motion and animation to avoid uncanny or unrealistic movement.

• Prompt Mastery: Leverage AI prompts to maximize the potential of generative design tools. Develop workflows to efficiently transform basic concepts into compelling, high-end visuals.

• Trend Awareness: Stay informed on the latest advancements in AI-driven design, CGI, and 3D rendering. Regularly experiment and implement the newest tools, ensuring turn is at the forefront of design innovation.

• Sound Design Integration: Collaborate with sound designers to ensure that audio effects enhance the realism and impact of each visual project.

• Brand Alignment: Follow turn’s brand rules (e.g., lowercase branding, bold for product suffixes). Ensure all content aligns with turn’s visual identity and ethos.

• Project Ownership: Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring all assets are delivered on time and meet the highest standard of quality.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience creating photorealistic 3D renderings, animations, and CGI, with a portfolio showcasing examples that could be mistaken for live-action.

• Proficiency in 3D design software (Blender, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, Houdini, etc.).

• Expertise in AI design tools (e.g., MidJourney, Stable Diffusion, DALL•E, Runway ML) and deep understanding of crafting effective prompts.

• Strong background in integrating CGI with real-life video footage.

• A keen eye for lighting, texture mapping, and realistic motion animation.

• Exceptional understanding of visual storytelling, with attention to detail on the micro and macro levels.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, creative environment.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
