Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and workflows, with expertise in ITSM, ITOM, and custom application development.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools and cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, SolarWinds) to support asset tracking, change management, incident management, and other processes.
• Utilize ServiceNow integration capabilities, including REST, SOAP, and MID Server to build reliable and scalable integrations.
• Work with APIs (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) to integrate with various systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
• Collaborate with HMH's Cloud Platform Engineering team to integrate ServiceNow requests with Terraform and automate cloud resource management processes.
• Design and implement custom integrations to send/receive data from internal and third-party systems (e.g., D&A tool, custom HMH applications) to build approvals and track information in ServiceNow.
• Ensure ServiceNow CMDB is effectively integrated with cloud resources, monitoring tools, and asset management systems.
• Work on the integration of Google Cloud Platform monitoring, especially for non-VMs, to ServiceNow for proactive incident management.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and deployment.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation related to integrations, workflows, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment to achieve project goals.

Required Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including experience with ITSM, ITOM, and custom application development.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow integration capabilities (REST, SOAP, MID Server).
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server).
• Experience with third-party integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
• Solid understanding of API design and development, including JSON, XML, and OAuth.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform resource integration and tying it into ServiceNow CMDB and SolarWinds for asset tracking.
• Experience with D&A tools and integrating them with ServiceNow for approvals and tracking.
• Familiarity with Terraform and integration of ServiceNow requests for cloud resource management.
• Understanding of Google Cloud Platform monitoring integration, including non-VM assets.
