If the answer is YES, join CalPERS Learning Technology & Design team where you will use your learning, development, and training technology expertise every day. This Learning Management System Administrator position will provide consultation and support for the CalPERS Learning Management System (LMS). Other duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing support for designing, evaluating, testing and deploying web-based courses in the LMS.
  • Acting as a liaison between CalPERS and external vendors to resolve third-party content issues.
  • Preparing reports on training program development and evaluation.
  • Documenting and maintaining internal policies and procedures to support training administrative processes.
  • Participate in learning and development special projects.

Working Conditions

  • This position is designated as office-centered and works primarily onsite at the Sacramento, CA -Headquarters at least three weekdays.
  • Occasional daytime offsite travel within the downtown Sacramento area.
  • Occasional off-peak work hours.

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

  • Experience working in a digitally collaborative environment using technology platforms like SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.
  • Ability to provide technical LMS support including consultation, troubleshooting, and testing/evaluation
  • Experience providing high quality customer service.
  • Experience and/or interest in developing project management and change management skills.
