We are seeking a talented and motivated web developer to join our growing team. As part of our dynamic team, you will play an essential role in enhancing and developing our cutting-edge web platforms. You will be responsible for improving the web components of our industry-leading insurance claim processing and medical services management software. Your contributions will support and enhance the services we offer to our clients, ensuring their web experiences are seamless, efficient, and secure.
Key Responsibilities:
Expand and Improve Web Sites & Services: Help shape the future of our online platforms by developing and enhancing existing web sites and services to better meet client needs.
End-to-End Development: Take on exciting new projects, building new features through the entire development lifecycle—from planning to deployment.
User-Focused Design: Design and implement intuitive, user-friendly page layouts and forms, ensuring an optimal experience for all users.
Enhance Workflow Efficiency: Optimize the workflows for both clients and internal teams, improving reliability, speed, and efficiency of the web-based components.
Performance & Security: Work on improving website performance, loading times, and security measures to protect client data and provide a smooth online experience.
Qualifications:
Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and come up with practical solutions that improve functionality.
Collaboration Skills: Comfortable interacting with both technical and non-technical team members to deliver results.
Experience with Web Programming Languages: Familiarity with languages such as C#, LINQ, HTML, SASS, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Ajax, and JSON.
Web Development Technologies: Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC, Bootstrap, or React is a plus.
Database Development Basics: Basic understanding of database design and development concepts.
Security Awareness: Knowledge of web application security principles and how to apply them to protect both the system and user data.
Self-Motivated: A self-starter who can take initiative and work independently, ensuring goals are met on time with minimal supervision.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, balancing short-term deadlines with long-term project goals.
Bonus Skills: Experience or knowledge in workflow and imaging systems, especially in a paperless, inbox-driven model, is helpful.
Preferred Qualifications: A background in the insurance industry is a plus, but not required.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Citizenship: Candidates must be U.S. citizens.
