We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. This role will primarily focus on tax preparation and management, with proficiency in QuickBooks and UltraTax.
### Job Summary:
As a CPA, you will be integral in preparing and managing tax filings, providing tax strategy advice, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of tax laws, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Use UltraTax software to ensure accurate and efficient tax preparation.
- Maintain and manage client financial records using QuickBooks, ensuring both accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct thorough tax planning and research to help minimize tax liabilities for clients.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial documents and answer questions regarding tax filings.
- Identify and implement tax-saving strategies, staying updated on changes to tax laws.
- Assist with IRS and state tax audits, including preparing documentation and representing clients as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and nurture strong client relationships.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions for both clients and internal teams.
### Qualifications:
- Active CPA license is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation and advisory services.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and UltraTax software is essential.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
