Job Description

Position Overview:  

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Residential Electrician Helper to work alongside our experienced electricians in delivering high-quality electrical services to our residential clients. As a Residential Electrician Helper, you will assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while learning and gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field. 

Pay Range: $14 - $20 / hour

Objectives:  

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential properties. 
  • Assist with wiring, lighting, outlets, switches, and other electrical components. 
  • Support the electrician in troubleshooting and problem-solving electrical issues. 
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and industry regulations. 
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. 
  • Learn and apply industry best practices and techniques. 


Competencies:  

  • Willingness to learn and work in the field of electrical services. 
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to take direction from experienced electricians. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 
  • A strong commitment to safety and a safety-conscious mindset. 
  • A valid driver's license is a plus. 
  • A clean driving record. 

Education and Experience:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

Physical Requirements:  

  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 80 pounds. 
  • Proficiency in climbing ladders up to 28 feet tall. 
  • Familiarity with power tools and hand tools. 
  • Color vision must be normal; color blindness is not permitted. 
  • Expectation to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the day.
