Student Success Advisor - Herbert College of Agriculture
The Herbert College of Agriculture at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is looking for vibrant, dynamic individuals interested in working in a team environment dedicated to student success. The Student Success Advisor fulfills a vital role in providing comprehensive academic advising and supporting holistic student success for undergraduate students pursuing or interested in majors or minors within the Herbert College of Agriculture.
The position is an exempt, 12-month, full-time, non-tenure track staff position that provides an exciting opportunity to be a part of UTK's advising strategic plan that integrates academic and career advising with self-exploration, leadership, and experience learning.
This is an on-campus position with some hybrid/remote work schedule flexibility.
The Position Reporting to the Assistant Director of Advising and Student Success for the Herbert College of Agriculture, the Student Success Advisor is responsible for assisting students in the development and implementation of educational plans consistent with their academic, career, and personal goals. This position requires a strong commitment to student success, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of university policies and procedures related to academic advising.
