Contact Crown Solar

Contact Crown Solar — book a time, or send the details

Pick a 30-minute slot in the live calendar and it is locked in immediately — no phone tag, no "someone will be in touch". If you would rather write it down, the forms below are built for different jobs, and the right one gets you a far more useful answer.

  • Live calendar — you pick the slot, it is confirmed on the spot
  • 30 minutes, by phone. Not a site visit and not a sales presentation
  • NSW electrical contractor licence 378172C · NETCC Approved Seller

1800 38 50 38 · admin@crownsolar.com.au · Mon–Fri, business hours AEST. Every enquiry is read by someone who can price and design the job — not a call centre taking a message.

The call is taken by someone who reads the drawing, not a receptionist taking a message.

Fastest route, by situation

Three ways in. Pick the one that matches you.

Each route asks different questions, because a homeowner and a procurement officer need completely different things back. Choosing correctly is the difference between a useful reply and a generic one.

01

I own or rent a home

Solar, a battery, a home EV charger, or a roof and switchboard assessment. You get an indicative system size and price range for your roof, plus which NSW incentives you qualify for.

  • Suburb or postcode
  • What you are after
  • Anything unusual about the site
Residential enquiry

Or book 30 minutes if you would rather talk first.

02

I am a business or fleet operator

Commercial rooftop, peak-demand work, depot EV charging, or an O&M contract on an existing asset. You get a feasibility pack or load study scoped to your site and tariff.

  • Organisation
  • What you need — feasibility, load study, O&M audit
  • Where you are in the process
Business enquiry

Or book 30 minutes for a scoping call.

03

I need documents for procurement

Capability statement, insurance certificates of currency, ISO and SWMS pack, licence and accreditation evidence, or a response to a live tender. Sent as documents, not as a sales call.

  • Organisation and tender reference
  • Which documents you need
  • Your deadline
Request documents

Same form as route 02 — pick a document option under What do you need?

Book a time

Book a 30-minute call

Pick any open slot. It is confirmed the moment you choose it, and you will get a calendar invite and a reminder. Times display in your own timezone.

What the 30 minutes actually covers

  • Your site, first 5 minutes. Roof or switchboard, orientation, shading, your current bill or tariff, and what you are trying to fix.
  • What is realistic, next 10. An indicative size and price range, and where the practical limits are — supply capacity, export limits, roof area, strata approval.
  • Incentives you actually qualify for, next 10. STCs, the NSW Home Energy Saver discount and zero-interest loan, federal battery rebates, or the EV Fleets kick-start funding for businesses.
  • What happens next, last 5. Whether a site inspection is warranted, what it costs, and the timeline.
Worth having in front of you. A recent electricity bill — the tariff and daily usage matter more than the total. Your address, so the roof can be looked at on imagery during the call. For businesses: your supply capacity in kVA, and your fleet size and vehicle classes.

To be straight with you

This is a phone consultation, not a site inspection, and nothing said on it is a fixed quote — a firm price needs a look at the roof, the switchboard and your meter. It is also not free advice with no commercial interest: Crown Solar is a solar retailer and installer, and the purpose of the call is to work out whether there is a job worth quoting. You will not be put on a call list for saying no.

Or send your details

Three forms, one per audience. Pick the tab that fits — it changes what you are asked and what comes back.

Residential enquiry

For a home you own or rent. Asks your suburb or postcode so the answer accounts for your STC zone, your distributor's export rules and travel. Comes back as an indicative size and price range plus the incentives you qualify for.

  • Solar, battery, home EV charger or a roof and switchboard assessment
  • Renting? Still worth asking — see the FAQ below
  • Prefer to talk? Book 30 minutes instead

Business, government and tender enquiry

For organisations. Asks what you need and where you are in the process, so a researcher gets a budget estimate and a tenderer gets the compliance pack. Document requests — capability statement, procurement pack, certificate of currency — are answered with documents, not a sales call.

  • Commercial rooftop, peak-demand work, depot EV charging, O&M contracts
  • Procurement: put your tender reference and deadline in the site details box
  • Faults on an existing system: choose Emergency or fault callout

General sales enquiry

Not sure which form fits? Start here. Tell us what you are after — a quote, product information or a general question — and the right person at Crown Solar will get back to you.

  • Best when your enquiry does not fit neatly into home or business
  • General questions about solar, batteries, EV charging or pricing
  • Prefer to talk? Book 30 minutes instead
About the two consent tickboxes at the bottom of each form. The first lets Crown Solar text you about your own enquiry, quote and install — appointment times, installer arrival, that kind of thing. The second is separate and is for marketing and offers. Both are optional and both start unticked. Leaving them blank does not stop anyone replying to you by phone or email, and you can reply STOP at any time.

Where your details go

Straight into Crown Solar's CRM, seen by the person who handles your enquiry. Not sold, and not passed to third parties beyond a finance or grant provider you ask to be referred to. You can ask for your record to be deleted by emailing admin@crownsolar.com.au.

Need to attach a drawing, spec or RFQ? The forms do not take file uploads. Email them to admin@crownsolar.com.au with your organisation and tender reference in the subject line, or note in the form that documents are coming.

Booking a call is the only route that is confirmed instantly — you pick the slot yourself. For everything else, tell us your deadline and we will either meet it or say up front that we cannot.

If something is unsafe, do not fill in a form

Forms and bookings are read during business hours. If you can smell burning, see scorching or arcing at the inverter or switchboard, or the system has tripped and will not reset — isolate it if you can do so safely and call 1800 38 50 38.

If anyone is in danger, call 000 first. For a network outage affecting your whole street, contact your distributor — that is not a Crown Solar fault.

Unsafe now

Burning smell, smoke, scorching, arcing, hot switchboard. Isolate if safe, then call. 000 first if anyone is at risk.

System down, but safe

No generation, inverter fault code, repeated tripping. Call during business hours, or use the business form and choose Emergency or fault callout.

Street-wide outage

Your neighbours are off too. Contact your distributor — Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy or Essential Energy depending on your area.

Performance looks off

Generation down but nothing obviously broken. Not urgent — send it through a form with your recent production figures.

Where we work

Greater Sydney and surrounding NSW for residential installs, from the Moorebank base. Commercial, government and O&M work is quoted case by case across NSW — travel and access are priced into the proposal rather than hidden.

Outside NSW, or outside a sensible drive of Sydney, you will be told so rather than quoted optimistically.

Before you get in touch

The questions that actually stop people making contact

Will I get hounded with calls?
No. One reply to your enquiry, and a follow-up if you asked for one. The marketing tickbox on the forms is separate, optional and starts unticked — if you leave it blank you will not be added to any promotional list. Say no at any point and the file is closed.
Is the 30-minute call really free, and is it a sales call?
It costs nothing and there is no obligation. It is also, honestly, a qualification call: Crown Solar sells and installs solar, and the point is to find out whether there is a job worth quoting. You will get useful answers either way, including if the answer is that your site is not worth doing.
Can I get a firm price without a site visit?
No. You can get a defensible indicative range from your address, roof imagery and your bill, which is usually enough to decide whether to proceed. A firm price needs eyes on the roof, the switchboard and the meter, because that is where the surprises are.
I am renting. Is there any point contacting you?
Yes, for two reasons. The NSW Home Energy Saver discount is open to tenants named on the lease, and some upgrades need no landlord consent. The zero-interest loan is owner-only, but a landlord can take it. Worth a conversation before you assume you are excluded.
Which form do I use if I want documents for a tender?
The business form. Choose Capability statement, Procurement pack or Certificate of currency under What do you need?, put your tender reference and deadline in the site details box, and you will get documents rather than a sales call.
Can I attach drawings, a spec or an RFQ?
Not through the forms as they stand — none of them accept file uploads. Email attachments to admin@crownsolar.com.au with your organisation and tender reference in the subject line, or note in the form that documents are coming.
What happens to my information?
It goes into Crown Solar's CRM and is seen by whoever handles your enquiry. It is not sold and not shared beyond a finance or grant provider you have asked to be referred to. Email to have your record deleted.
Why does the booking widget show a different domain?
Scheduling and forms run on Crown Solar's CRM platform, which is currently served from the implementation partner's domain. Your booking and details still go only to Crown Solar. The plan is to move this onto a Crown Solar subdomain.
Do you work outside NSW?
Residential work is Greater Sydney and surrounding NSW. Commercial, government and O&M work is considered case by case across NSW. Outside that, you will be told rather than quoted optimistically.
My system has stopped working. Is this the right page?
If it is unsafe, stop reading and call 1800 38 50 38 — see the safety block above. If it is down but safe, call during business hours or use the business form and choose Emergency or fault callout.
